(Ashoora) 42 : 16
وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ
And those who repudiate regarding Allah after answering to Him—their repudiation will be null and void with their Lord, and upon them is wrath, and they have severe punishment.
“Those who repudiate regarding Allah after answering to Him,” mentioned in the verse, are the transgressing hypocrites who believed earlier and later hid Adhikr and became disbelievers, as explained in verses 3:90-91. See explanation 4:137-139; 9:67-68 and 63:3-4.
